Advanced Polymer, Inc. Introduces New Water Repellent for Textiles

Advanced Polymer, Inc. (Carlstadt, NJ) has introduced AdvaPel™ 727, a solvent-based fluorochemical resin solution that can be used to impart excellent water repellency and oil resistance across a broad range of substrates. AdvaPel™ 727, the first product to carry the new trademark, can be used on leather and textiles for apparel, carpeting and upholstery. It is also suitable for use on hard surfaces such as natural stone. AdvaPel 727 is non-C8 based and, therefore, considered to be non-PFOA contributing.
